Welcome to Girven Rd Pharmacy. My name is Dennis and my wife, Beverley, and I bought the pharmacy in April 2015 and are proud to provide a high quality, personal service to our local community. I have been a pharmacist for 30 years and our team includes Mark Winefield, who has 40 years experience as a pharmacist. Angela, our retail manager has expertise in natural health options. We specialize in helping people understand and manage their medications. We offer a delivery service (Thursdays) if needed. Beverley has been a social worker for 30 years and is currently studying a Masters degree in Psychology (just so she can understand me!) We also own and operate the Great Barrier Island Pharmacy and I fly to the Barrier most weeks which is also very rewarding. I enjoy the typical 'kiwi' outdoors lifestyle including fishing, hunting and diving. A personal achievement was biking around Lake Taupo! I also have hearing aids and so understand the challenges of hearing difficulties. Feel free to call into the pharmacy to meet us and discuss any problems you may have with your health.
